ACCESSIBILITY
Accessibility statement.
We want ginnova.co.uk to be usable by everyone, including people who browse with a keyboard, a screen reader, reduced motion turned on, or a screen of any size.
Our standard
This website is built with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA as its target. That is the internationally recognised standard for making web content accessible, and it is the same standard the Equality Act 2010 expects UK organisations to work towards.
We are not claiming a formal, externally certified audit. What we can tell you is exactly what has been built in, because everything below is a deliberate measure rather than a happy accident.
What we have done
Keyboard navigation
Every interactive element is reachable and operable by keyboard. A skip link takes you straight to the main content, and focus outlines are always visible.
Motion preferences
Animation respects your device setting. If your system asks for reduced motion, animation is switched off automatically, and a control in the header lets you turn it off or on yourself.
Colour and contrast
Text and interface colours are tested in both the light and dark themes and meet WCAG 2.2 level AA contrast ratios. No information is conveyed by colour alone.
Structure and semantics
Headings follow a logical order, pages have a single top-level heading, landmarks are labelled, and images carry descriptive alternative text.
Language and spelling
The site is declared as English for the United Kingdom (en-GB), and the text is written in British English throughout.
Zoom and reflow
The layout adapts to your screen size and reflows without horizontal scrolling on smaller devices. Text remains legible when zoomed.
Telling us about a barrier
If anything on this site is difficult or impossible for you to use, please tell us. We treat accessibility problems as faults, not as feedback to be considered at our convenience, and we will respond and fix what we can.
Email info@ginnova.co.uk or call +44 7520 655417. Please say which page you were on and what you were trying to do.
If you are in the UK, the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) handles complaints about accessibility. If you are in the EU, you can contact your national equality body.
